The aim of the research is to determine the life quality perceptions and socio-demographical and socio-economical status of families. In the research, the validity and reliability of Beach Center Family Quality of Life Scale (BCFQLS) used for determination of the life quality of the families whose children have developmental disabilities to use for samples of families whose children not having developmental disabilities, were evaluated. The sample group consisted of 132 women, 174 men total of 306 families with children including in research the research as volunteers determined by the random sampling method in Alanya district of the city of Antalya. The socio demographical data of the research “Socio- Demographical Information Form socio-economical data” Socio-Economical Status (SES) scale” and data concerning family life quality perceptions are collected with “BCFQLS” subdatas of family interaction, parenthood, emotional efficiency and physical/material/financial efficiency. The research findings, showed that the family life quality subfield perceptions of the families were above the avarage, the highest perception was at the beneath , the parenthood field, as lowest perception was at subfield of emotional efficiency. Differencies were determined among “total family life quality” and subfield perceptions of families from differnt socio-demographical-economic groups.
