Our world is changing very rapidly and continuously, and lots of data is being produced in every second. Thus, it is possible to say that everything is exposed to constant change. It is very important for individuals to be able to learn for life or to be willing to learn in order to adapt themselves into these changes and improvements. It is also known that the attitudes or feelings towards learning affect learning. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the attitudes of teacher candidates studying at a faculty of education of a university towards learning and to analyse whether their attitudes showed significant differences in terms of various variables. The universe of the research consisted of the third-grade and fourth-grade teacher candidates studying at a faculty of education in the 2017-2018 educational years. The study group of the research consisted of 255 students chosen randomly from this group. The Attitude Scale towards Learning, a reliable and valid measurement tool, developed by Kara (2010), was used in the study. The survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was adopted in the research. The acquired data was analysed thanks to the SPSS package program. The results of the research showed that the attitudes of teacher candidates towards learning were simply high. In addition, according to the results of the research, it was determined that the attitudes of teacher candidates towards learning showed significant differences in terms of the variables including gender, teaching department and the monthly number of book reading yet they didn’t show any differences in terms of the class level.
