ABSTRACT
In this study, it is aimed to examine the mediating role of job motivation in the relationship between organizational justice and job satisfaction levels of administrators and teachers working in private education institutions. The research group consists of 364 administrators and teachers working in private education institutions in a province in Turkey in the 2020-2021 academic year. In the research group, 188 (51.6%) were female and 176 (47.4%) were male. The ages of the participants ranged from 22 to 61 (x̄ = 36.28; N= 8.97). The data were obtained with the Job Satisfaction Scale, the Organizational Justice Scale, the Multidimensional Job Motivation Scale and the Personal Information Form. The mediating role of job motivation in the relationship between the organizational justice and job satisfaction levels of the participants was analyzed with the structural equation model. Significant relationships were found between the variables of the study. In the findings related to the structural model, job motivation mediates the relationship between organizational justice and job satisfaction levels of the participants. In the bootstrapping analysis findings made for larger samples, organizational justice indirectly predicts the level of job satisfaction of the participants through work motivation. The fair perception of teachers and administrators working in private education institutions increases their job motivation and their job satisfaction increases.
